In a heartwarming tradition that reflects the spirit of Ramadan, Alkhidmat Foundation hosted its annual Grand Iftar Dinner for orphans, brave mothers, and elderly individuals at UMT, Lahore. The event, a testament to the organization's commitment to serving humanity, was attended by distinguished guests and a diverse array of community members.
President Alkhidmat, Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, Vice President Alkhidmat, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat, Zia Uddin Ansari, and President Alkhidmat Lahore, Engr. Ahmad Hammad Rashid, graced the occasion with their presence, highlighting the significance of coming together to support the marginalized segments of society.
A multitude of orphaned children and their mothers, elderly individuals, philanthropists, volunteers, and civil society members gathered to partake in the festivities, delighting in the warmth of companionship and solidarity. As the evening Opened up, the highlight of the event was the distribution of Eid gifts to orphaned children, symbolizing the joy and happiness that comes with the festive season. Additionally, attendees were treated to a sumptuous Iftar dinner, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared blessings.
It is a tradition deeply rooted in Alkhidmat's ethos, reaffirming the organization's unwavering commitment to providing holistic care and support to orphaned children across Pakistan. With 29,603 orphans under its wing, including those at Aghosh Homes, Alkhidmat continues to be a beacon of hope for those in need.
