Alkhidmat’s ‘A Step to Success – Leadership Camp’ initiative brought together brave children for a leadership camp amidst the picturesque landscapes of Kalam Swat. Sponsored orphan students from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa participated in this five-day camp organized in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority.
During the camp, participants engaged in a variety of activities aimed at nurturing their leadership skills and promoting environmental stewardship. They explored Swat's renowned tourist spots including Kalam, Mittaltan Valley, Mahudand Lake, Shahi Ground, and Osho Forest, while conducting a rigorous cleanliness drive. Demonstrating their commitment to a Clean and Green Pakistan, they collected plastic bottles, shopping bags, and other trash, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation.
The camp also featured group discussions, exercises, Qur'an recitation competitions, bonfires, quizzes, games, and storytelling sessions. Renowned trainer Wajahat Ali Shah and Focal Person Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, Amir Khan led workshops on leadership management and discipline, enriching the children's learning experience.
A special ceremony under the Alkhidmat Orphan Family Support Program highlighted the Foundation's dedication to providing a brighter future for underprivileged children. Brigadier (Rtd) Abdul Jabbar Butt, National Director Orphan Family Support Program, and other dignitaries attended, underscoring Alkhidmat's commitment to educational empowerment and holistic development through initiatives like leadership camps.
