Alkhidmat Disaster Management Program organized A Way Forward 2.0 - Gateway to INSARAG. Thirty-five participants received training on rescue vehicle equipment as Alkhidmat showcased its newly acquired gear. Secretary General Alkhidmat, Syed Waqas Jafri, expressed gratitude to all guests and outlined Alkhidmat ongoing and future plans for supporting communities both locally and internationally.

 

Deputy Country Head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Pakistan, Mr. Gift Chatora, and Senior Director of Plans at NDMA Pakistan, Col. Raza Iqbal, addressed the event, recognizing and commending Alkhidmat services during disasters in Pakistan and beyond. Chairman of Alkhidmat Health, Prof. Dr. M. Zahid Latif; President of Alkhidmat Central Punjab, Ikram ul Haq Subhani; and dignitaries from NDMA, OCHA, and Rescue 1122 attend the event. Key speakers, Mr. Ikram ul Haq Subhani (ASG-AKFP), Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif (Chairman - AHF), and Mr. Gift Chatora (UNOCHA Pakistan), highlighted Alkhidmat’s contributions. Dr. Farhan Khalid (Rescue 1122 Punjab) and chief guest Col. Raza Iqbal (NDMA Pakistan- Chairperson INSARAG Asia Pacific) praised its national and international relief efforts. Mr. Syed Waqas Jafri (SG-AKFP) closed the event, outlining future plans. The event concluded with certificate and souvenir distribution.
