On the 15th of Ramadan, observed as the Day of Orphans, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, spent time with the orphan children at Aghosh Alkhidmat Home in Peshawar. A significant event was organized at the venue, presided over by Khalid Waqas, the Provincial President of the Alkhidmat Foundation KP, with Chief Minister Gandapur as the chief guest.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Gandapur expressed his admiration for the humanitarian efforts of the Alkhidmat Foundation and pledged the government’s full support for charitable endeavors of Alkhidmat. He also shared the joy of Eid by giving Eidi to the children.
The event was attended by the former senior provincial minister, Inayatullah Khan, provincial ministers Meena Khan Afridi and Syed Qasim Ali Shah, the Chief Khatib of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Maulana Muhammad Tayyab Qureshi, and Provincial General Secretary AKF KP Muhammad Shakir Siddiqui. The gathering also had educators, members of the business community, representatives from government and private sectors, as well as political and social personalities and officials of Alkhidmat.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
