The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are a sacred and blessed period in the Islamic calendar, considered the most virtuous days of the year. The importance of these days is emphasized in various Hadiths and Quranic verses.

In a Hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "There are no days more beloved to Allah than the ten days of Dhul Hijjah." (Sunan Abu Dawud)

During these 10 days, Muslims are encouraged to perform various acts of worship, including:

  • Charity:

Donating during these days is considered multiplied and rewarded abundantly.

  • Tahleel and Takbeer:

Reciting Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) and Tahleel (La ilaha illallah) frequently.

  • Qurbani:

Performing the sacrifice of an animal on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah (Eid-al-Adha).
