Provincial Assembly members Aiman Jaleel Jan, Naheeda Noor, and Arifa Bibi visited the Alkhidmat Thalassemia Center in Nishtarabad, Peshawar.
During the visit, officials briefed the lawmakers on the medical services provided to children with thalassemia, including free treatment facilities, the blood bank, laboratory operations, and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
The assembly members met with the children receiving treatment, encouraged them, and distributed gifts. They assured full support to the center’s management, noting that such welfare initiatives promote compassion, sacrifice, and community service in society.
The Alkhidmat Thalassemia Center administration thanked the lawmakers for their visit.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
