Alkhidmat Foundation held its Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial General Council meeting in Peshawar, with Khalid Waqas, provincial president, leading the proceedings. Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Mangat, central vice-president Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, joined the event as the chief guest.
Central Deputy Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Moulana Dr. Attaur Rehman, Patron in chief AKF KP Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, and provincial General Secretary AKF KP Muhammad Shakir Siddiqui were also present of the occasion.
The two-day meeting began with a lecture by Maulana Dr. Attaur Rahman, delving into the importance of trust, loyalty, and responsibility as outlined in the Quran and Sunnah. Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan followed with a speech, highlighting the core values and goals of Alkhidmat Foundation.
 At the meeting, Khalid Waqas shared updates on ongoing welfare activities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, discussing both successes and challenges. Reports were presented by provincial president Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Inayat Begum and vice president Zahida Karam, detailing the initiatives led by Alkhidmat Women Wing. District representatives also gave reports, showcasing progress at the grassroots level.
Secretary Finance Dr. Fazal Subhan and Director Media AKF KP Dr. Yousaf Ali conducted special sessions on financial management, resource mobilization, and media engagement to enhance organizational efficiency and outreach.
Dr. Zahid Latif, Chairman Alkhidmat Health Foundation Pakistan, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the organization's commitment to promoting a healthy society. Dr. Latif highlighted the extensive efforts being made to provide quality medical facilities to people nationwide through various initiatives such as Alkhidmat Hospitals, Health Clinics, Diagnostic Centers, Thalassemia Centers, Blood Banks, Ambulance Services, and Medical Camps.
Dr. Latif also spoke about the significant aid being extended under the Alkhidmat Health Foundation to meet the healthcare needs of victims in Gaza. This aid includes provisions such as medicines, medical equipment, ambulance services, and nutritional support for children.
Furthermore, Dr. Latif emphasized the importance of keeping pace with rapid advancements in the field of medicine.
During the meeting, Dr. Mushtaq Mangat delivered a comprehensive speech focusing on the aid activities conducted both within the country and abroad for the Palestinian people affected by the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza. He elaborated on the urgent need for humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of those impacted by the conflict.
Dr. Mangat highlighted the efforts undertaken by Alkhidmat Foundation and other organizations to provide relief to the affected individuals and families, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and support during times of crisis. He urged continued support for the Palestinian cause.
In the meeting participants were also briefed on the progress of Bano Qabil.
The meeting concluded with a reiteration of the commitment to serve humanity. The exchange of ideas, sharing of expertise, and strategic planning laid a strong foundation for future endeavors.
