Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan held its annual General Council meeting in Lahore, bringing together chapters from across the country to review regional performance and outline future plans.
At the gathering, Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received a special recognition award for its tireless efforts during the devastating floods of 2025. The team’s swift response, commitment, and service to affected families were highlighted as one of the most outstanding contributions to Alkhidmat’s humanitarian mission.
The award was presented to Regional Manager AKF KP Dr. Shakeel Ahmad by the chairman of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Disaster Management Department.
Officials from both Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and Alkhidmat Foundation South Punjab praised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa volunteers for standing shoulder to shoulder with communities in crisis.
Speakers at the meeting noted that the dedication of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team reflects the true spirit of Alkhidmat’s mission.
The General Council meeting also included presentations of annual performance reports from all regional offices, showcasing initiatives in health, education, disaster management, and social services. Still, it was the recognition of Alkhidmat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s flood relief work that drew particular applause, underscoring the vital role of volunteers in times of national hardship.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
