Emergency Appeal

The Alkhidmat Bano Qabil program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offers free, advanced IT courses to empower the youth and equip them with the latest technological skills. The program aims to create a skilled and employable youth population by providing practical courses in e-commerce, digital marketing, cybersecurity, graphic design, motion design and more.&nbsp; 
To ensure the success of the program, Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will conduct aptitude tests on July 6, 2024 to identify the most talented and motivated students. Separate aptitude tests for boys and girls will be held at Islamia Collegiate School Ground Peshawar.

Alkhidmat Bano Qabil Aptitude Test to Be Held on July 6, 2024

Certificates were awarded to 43 prisoners who completed a six-month course at the Alkhidmat Skill Center in Central Jail Peshawar. The initiative, led by Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, aims to equip prisoners with skills for a better future, enabling them to reintegrate into society as respectable citizens after serving their sentences.

The ceremony, chaired by Khalid Waqas, Provincial President Alkhidmat Foundation, was attended by Provincial Minister for Prisons Humayun Khan, IG Prisons Muhammad Usman Mehsud, and Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Central Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, who served as the chief guest. Other attendees included Alkhidmat officials, senior police officers, and city dignitaries.

The Alkhidmat Skill Center offers training in IT courses, leather goods production, tailoring, sewing, and embroidery. Prisoners completing the courses also learn skills such as making leather bags, purses, and shoes. Minister Humayun Khan announced a six-month sentence remission for those completing the program.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Mushtaq Mangat emphasized the need to reform prisons into centers of rehabilitation rather than punishment. He highlighted Alkhidmat&rsquo;s commitment to prisoner welfare across the country, advocating for societal acceptance of rehabilitated prisoners.

IG Prisons Muhammad Usman Mehsud echoed these sentiments, stressing the importance of prisoner education and training to reduce recidivism and help them contribute positively to society and the nation&rsquo;s development.

Prisoners Certificates Earn Sentence Cuts, Curb Recidivism

The International Volunteer Day ceremony, organized by Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was held at the University of Peshawar. The event highlighted the vital role of volunteers in serving humanity and strengthening communities. 
Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Abdul Wasi, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Central, Khalid Waqas, President Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Director General Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Noman Mujahid, Dr. Shakeel, Head of Social Work Department UoP, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Regional Manager Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Professor Dr. Rais Gul, Head of Sociology Islamia College University, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of volunteerism. 
They expressed pride in the dedication volunteers, while acknowledging the hard work of young volunteers and their critical role in national development. 
The participants praised Alkhidmat Foundation and commended Alkhidmat volunteers for their efforts during disasters and reconstruction projects across the country. 
The event concluded with the distribution of honorary shields to distinguished guests and recognition shields and certificates to volunteers for their outstanding contributions.

International Volunteer Day Observed

Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa marked the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with a special event in Peshawar, focusing on support and inclusion for disabled children.

Medical checkups of the children were conducted and they were provided with essential items, including ration packs, warm clothes, shoes, and wheelchairs. Entertainment activities were also arranged, bringing joy and smiles to the children.

Khalid Waqas, President Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; Arbab Abdul Haseeb, District President; Javed Gill, Director Alkhidmat Minority Wing; Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Regional Manager; and Muhammad Waseem, Senior Program Manager, along with other social figures were present on the occasion. They spent time with the children, offering encouragement and support.

The event aimed to raise awareness about the needs and rights of disabled individuals, emphasizing that they are an integral part of society. Organizers stressed the shared responsibility to care for and uplift them.

The event also stressed that children with disabilities are not alone. Alkhidmat is committed to improving their lives and ensuring they can equally experience the joys and challenges of life.

Hope & Support Shine on International Disability Day

The annual Alkhidmat Academic Scholarship convention took place at the University of Peshawar, bringing together students, scholars, and dignitaries.

Muhammad Shakoor Alam, Chairman Aghosh Alkhidmat USA attended the ceremony as the chief guest. 
Abdul Wasi, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Central; Khalid Waqas, President Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; and other dignitaries and scholars joined the event.

Speakers emphasized the importance of education in nation-building. &ldquo;Education should be our first priority as it builds nations. We are committed to making every child&rsquo;s dream a reality,&rdquo; said Muhammad Shakoor Alam. 
Abdul Wasi urged scholars to use their talents for both academic progress and national development. 
Khalid Waqas reminded beneficiaries of their responsibility to support deserving and humanity in the future.

The event highlighted Alkhidmat&rsquo;s efforts in providing scholarships to deserving students. Commemorative shields were presented to distinguished guests, and students who excelled academically were honored for their achievements.

Education Stressed at Alkhidmat Scholarship Convention

PESHAWAR &mdash; Alkhidmat Foundation&rsquo;s Education Department organized its Annual Literary Festival at Hadaf College, involving students from 22 Alkhidmat Schools across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The event aimed to nurture the talents of over 8,000 male and female students through competitions in essay writing, speeches, painting, Naat, Husn-e-Qirat, and poetry.

Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Captain (R) Sarmad Saleem Akram, inaugurated the event. Provincial President Alkhidmat Foundation Khalid Waqas presided over the ceremony, with Chairman Peshawar Board Professor Nasrullah Khan as chief guest. The event also included Provincial Vice President AKF KP Hafiz Hameedullah Advocate, Managing Director KP Education Foundation, Zareeful Maani, General Secretary AKF KP Muhammad Shakir Siddiqui, Director Education AKF KP Fazal Mahmood, ADO Education&nbsp;Professor Saleem Afaqi, Professor Dr. Ishaq Wardag, and President Alkhidmat Peshawar Arbab Abdul Haseeb.

The speakers emphasized Alkhidmat&rsquo;s contributions to education and stressed the need for collective efforts by parents, teachers, and government stakeholders to enhance literacy and promote quality education.

Outstanding students were awarded shields and cash prizes. Commemorative shields were presented to guest judges, including teachers from renowned institutions.
