Alkhidmat Shares Eid Celebrations With Vulnerable Communities Across KP
From children battling thalassemia to widows, daily wage laborers and street children, thousands of vulnerable people across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received sacrificial meat and Eid gifts as part of Alkhidmat Foundation campaign during Eid al-Adha.
Across the province, Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers distributed sacrificial meat throughout the Eid holidays. Beneficiaries included low-income families, widows, orphan children, people with disabilities, daily wage laborers, prisoners in central jails, members of the transgender community and other marginalized groups.
As part of its Eid outreach campaign, Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a series of events at its provincial headquarters and district offices. Special gatherings were held for children living with thalassemia, street children, brave children, members of the transgender community and artists.
The organization also delivered sacrificial meat directly to households in need across the province.
At the Alkhidmat Thalassemia Center in Nishtarabad, Peshawar, Eid celebrations were organized for children receiving treatment for the blood disorder. Khalid Waqas, president of Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, accompanied by Khadija Inayat, additional director at the Higher Education Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, distributed Eid gifts, cash presents and sacrificial meat among the children.
Separate Eid gatherings were also held at Alkhidmat's provincial headquarters for artists and members of the transgender community. Participants shared in the Eid celebrations and received sacrificial meat. Office-bearers of the Peshawar Press Club and local journalists attended the events.
Alkhidmat Women Trust Peshawar joined the province-wide Eid outreach campaign by distributing sacrificial meat among deserving families and organizing Eid celebrations for women and children. Volunteers distributed gifts and Eid presents, while community members gathered to mark the occasion and share in the festivities.
















Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
