Alkhidmat Arranges Mass Wedding for 34 Deserving Brides in Peshawar

Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a mass wedding ceremony for 34 orphaned and deserving brides in Peshawar, providing each bride with household items worth Rs240,000 under its Aasan Nikah Project.

The ceremony, held at a local wedding hall, was attended by Vice Emir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Dr. Usama Razi, Emir JI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Central Abdul Wasi, National Director Community Services Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Amir Mehmood Cheema, President Alkhidmat Foundation KP Khalid Waqas, philanthropist Haji Hukmanuddin, Vice President Alkhidmat KP Arbab Abdul Haseeb, District President Iftikhar Ahmad Khan and other community leaders.

On the occasion, Emir JI KP Abdul Wasi solemnized the marriages of all 34 couples during the ceremony.

More than 1,300 guests attended the walima reception organized for the newlyweds and their families. Each bride received 38 essential household items, including furniture, kitchenware, a washing machine, a pedestal fan, dresses, a sewing machine, jewellery, makeup kits, blankets and other household necessities.

Addressing the ceremony, speakers said more than 13,000 orphaned and deserving brides have benefited from Alkhidmat Foundation's Aasan Nikah Project across Pakistan.
