Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a monsoon preparedness training program aimed at equipping volunteers with practical disaster management and emergency response skills.
On the opening day, a water rescue course was conducted with the participation of volunteers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Central Punjab. Participants received hands-on training in rescue operations and emergency response techniques to help them effectively deal with monsoon-related emergencies and flooding situations.
Officials said the initiative was part of Alkhidmat Foundation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacity of its volunteer network to respond to disasters and assist communities during emergencies.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
