Alkhidmat Equips Peshawar, Bannu Response Centers with 54 Modern Rescue Tools

Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has strengthened its disaster response capacity by equipping model response centers in Peshawar and Bannu with 54 modern rescue and emergency equipment items.

The equipment was handed over during a Disaster Response Equipment Handover Ceremony organized by Alkhidmat’s Disaster Management Program at Aghosh Alkhidmat Peshawar. President Alkhidmat Foundation KP Khalid Waqas handed over the equipment to Peshawar District President Iftikhar Ahmad and Bannu District Vice President Azizullah Qureshi.

The supplied equipment includes portable generators, high-capacity water pumps, rescue stretchers, telescopic fiberglass ladders, tripod rescue systems, life jackets, rescue helmets, safety harnesses, life buoys, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, rescue ropes, emergency lights and other tools designed for flood response, fire incidents, building collapses and other emergencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Khalid Waqas said Alkhidmat has established trained rescue teams across the province and is continuously enhancing their capacity through modern equipment and professional training to ensure timely response and protection of human lives during disasters.

The ceremony was attended by Alkhidmat KP Vice President Jalal Shah Advocate and other provincial and district representatives.
