PESHAWAR: In observance of 15th Ramadan, Orphan Day, a special iftar dinner was hosted at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar, bringing together orphaned children under the care of Alkhidmat Foundation and other welfare organizations.
The event, aimed at honoring and supporting these children, saw the Chief Minister distributing gifts and Eid allowances among them. As part of the initiative, Alkhidmat Foundation provided Eid clothes to 800 children, ensuring they could celebrate the festive occasion with joy.
Alkhidmat Foundation’s provincial president Khalid Waqas, vice president Fida Muhammad Khan, district president Arbab Abdul Haseeb and others attended the event.
The gathering highlighted the collective effort of welfare organizations and the provincial leadership in ensuring the well-being of orphaned children, reaffirming the commitment to providing them with care, dignity, and a sense of belonging during the holy month of Ramadan.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
