In an effort to address the growing issue of drug addiction, Peshawar's district administration has partnered with the Alkhidmat Foundation to launch the "Drug-Free Peshawar" campaign.
A meeting held at the Commissioner’s office brought together prominent officials, including Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud, Khalid Waqas, President Alkhidmat Foundation KP, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Regional Manager AKF KP, Dr. Iqtar Ahmad, Director Alkhidmat Hospital Peshawar, and other key representatives.
Central to the discussion was a memorandum of understanding between the district administration and the Alkhidmat Drug Rehabilitation Center, aimed at enhancing the rehabilitation and treatment of drug addicts.
Commissioner Mehsud lauded the treatment facilities provided by the Alkhidmat Drug Rehabilitation Center and commended the foundation for its ongoing welfare efforts.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
