The International Volunteer Day ceremony, organized by Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was held at the University of Peshawar. The event highlighted the vital role of volunteers in serving humanity and strengthening communities.
Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Abdul Wasi, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Central, Khalid Waqas, President Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Director General Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Noman Mujahid, Dr. Shakeel, Head of Social Work Department UoP, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Regional Manager Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Professor Dr. Rais Gul, Head of Sociology Islamia College University, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of volunteerism.
They expressed pride in the dedication volunteers, while acknowledging the hard work of young volunteers and their critical role in national development.
The participants praised Alkhidmat Foundation and commended Alkhidmat volunteers for their efforts during disasters and reconstruction projects across the country.
The event concluded with the distribution of honorary shields to distinguished guests and recognition shields and certificates to volunteers for their outstanding contributions.
