Every year, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan works tirelessly to support marginalized communities, including orphaned children, widows, and those facing extreme poverty. These simple gifts give individuals and families the means to celebrate Eid with dignity and hope, despite their financial struggles. 

How are Eid gifts distributed? 

The majority of Alkhidmat’s gifts are directly given to our rights-holders. This method ensures that our rightsholders receive tangible goods that are essential for celebrating Eid and improving their overall wellbeing. 

A small minority of alkhidmat offices distribute the gifts via: 

Voucher distribution: This includes providing vouchers that can be exchanged for food items, clothing, or other essentials. Voucher distribution offer flexibility, allowing people to select items according to their preferences and needs. 

Cash assistance: People receive cash gift that they can use to purchase goods and services as they see fit. Cash assistance provides greater autonomy and choice.

Caring and providing gifts to orphans and children in need

With your support, Al-Khidmat organized Eid shopping and gifts for thousands of orphaned boys and girls during the month of Ramadan.  

 

These gifts provide children with useful items such as new clothes, school bags and other educational equipment. We also provide items which will simply be enjoyed by children, such as toys, balloons and sweets. 

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasised the status of orphans, and the importance of fulfilling their needs.

Whoever caresses the head of an orphan (in affection), solely for the sake of Allah, a good deed will be written to his account for every hair over which he passed his hand, and whoever treated an orphan (boy or girl) with goodness and kindness, he and I will be close to each-other in Heaven as these two fingers.
