Alkhidmat Foundation commenced free IT courses and online business classes for youth in Peshawar under its Bano Qabil program.
International cricketer Fakhar Zaman inaugurated the first IT center in Nishtarabad at the Alkhidmat Foundation’s district office.
The opening ceremony was presided over Khalid Waqas, provincial President Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rahman, along with provincial Vice President Tajul Maluk, Arbab Abdul Haseeb, and Malik Parvez Khan also joined the opening ceremony.
This new initiative follows the success of the Bano Qabil program in cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Over 65,000 students in Peshawar have already signed up for the courses, part of a nationwide goal to train one million students, with 300,000 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa alone.
The first phase of the program will focus on IT centers in divisional headquarters across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with plans to expand to more districts in the future.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
