The Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized widespread Independence Day celebrations across the province, highlighting its commitment to community welfare and national pride.
In Peshawar, the foundation marked the day by planting trees in Hayatabad, in collaboration with the Peshawar Development Authority. The initiative was launched by President Alkhidmat Foundation KP Khalid Waqas and Peshawar District President Arbab Abdul Haseeb. Children from the Alkhidmat Child Protection Centers, along with social activists and volunteers, took part in the tree-planting activity.
The Peshawar Police also joined the festivities by celebrating Independence Day with the children from Aghosh Alkhidmat Home in Peshawar. Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar Qasim Ali Khan, President AKF KP Khalid Waqas, and Arbab Abdul Haseeb unfurled the national flag and cut the Independence Day cake with the children. The event emphasized a collective pledge to contribute to a prosperous Pakistan and the importance of supporting the nation's future generations.
In Chitral, the Alkhidmat Foundation School Qutaiba Campus held a vibrant celebration featuring national songs, speeches, and various competitions. The event also supported the "Clean and Green Pakistan" campaign with sapling planting by children and teachers.
The Independence Day was also observed under the Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program with various events where children cut cakes, performed the national anthem and songs, and participated in speeches and skits. Gifts were distributed to all the children in attendance.
In Mardan, a joyful celebration transpired where brave children, their mothers, and local dignitaries joined in. The event featured performances, including songs and speeches, and concluded with the distribution of prizes to the children.
In Peshawar, Independence Day was also celebrated at Alkhidmat Drug Rehabilitation Center, where patients took part in commemorating the occasion with heartfelt enthusiasm.
The celebration events, held in other districts of the province, underscored the foundation's dedication to fostering a spirit of national pride and community support.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
