Alkhidmat Foundation has dispatched a shipment of 20 containers filled with essential relief goods to Gaza. The shipment, sent via sea cargo ship, is destined to reach its destination through Port Said in Egypt.
The consignment comprises a staggering 400 tons of relief items, including rice, blankets, tents, tin packs of cooked food, family packs, kitchen sets, jerry cans, medicine, and various other necessities. These provisions are intended to provide crucial support to the displaced and affected families in Gaza during these challenging times.
The departure of the relief supplies was marked by a solemn ceremony attended by esteemed dignitaries and representatives. Among those present were Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Rabai, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr. Hafeez Ur Rahman, Vice President and Chairman of Alkhidmat Disaster Management Ejaz Ullah Khan, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Sindh Dr. Syed Tabassum Jafari, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Karachi Naveed Ali Baig, Eng. Sabir Ahmed, Additional Foreign Secretary, Ambassador Ahmed Amjad Ali, as well as representatives from NDMA and other welfare organizations.
This significant humanitarian effort underscores Alkhidmat's unwavering commitment to alleviating the suffering of those in need, both at home and abroad. As the relief goods set sail for Gaza, they carry with them the hopes and prayers of countless individuals, standing in solidarity with the resilient people of Palestine during these challenging times.
