Success never comes overnight. Hardworking, determination and passion to go ahead are some of the qualities that every aspirant has to adopt. This is what happened to Muhammad Zubair, a resident of Lala Movi, Muhalla of Azamgar. Some 20 years ago today, Zubair dreamed of becoming a medical doctor, but the financial circumstances of the family didn’t allow him to pursue his dream.
His two brothers and a sister were also studying in a school, so household expenditures became quite tough. He heard about Alkhidmat Alfalah Scholarship and gave the application. After the scholarship was granted, he took admission in FSc in the Government Degree College Kharian Cantt and passed the examination securing 706 marks out of 1100. Since the grade was not good to entitle him for the admission to a medical college, Zubair decided to reappear in the exam and improve the graded. He sat in the exam again next year and achieved 766 marks. Now, he was eligible for entry to a medical college.
Muhammad Zubair’s MBBS journey ended in December 2006. A medical degree, which was a dream, had now become a reality. After completing the house job, Zubair started his regular life as a doctor at the Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi.
Dr. Muhammad Zubair is currently posted at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad and has earned a name and good reputation because of his professionalism. He is also the regular supporter of Alkhidmat Alfalah Scholarship Scheme. May Allah grant him many more successes in the future.
