Alkhidmat is on a Mission to Save Lives

Alkhidmat is on a mission to save lives on the ground and has been at the forefront to do rescue and relief in the wake of the devastation floods in Pakistan due to unprecedented Monsoon rains.One third of the country has been inundated since then, with some villages and populated areas completely wiped off the surface of the Earth.

Experts say that these areas will take about 3 to 6 months to dry up completely. This natural disaster is being categorized as a devastation of ‘unimaginable proportions’.  Rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the flood affectees is a major challenge for the Government and people of Pakistan. But unfortunately, this is not all. Amid the already existing economic crisis and this humanitarian crisis caused by floods, there is a major risk of imminent food insecurity and spread of widespread disease threatening our country.

Nations face tough times often; only those nations survive who try to thrive even in the worst of times. Pakistanis have time and again proven to be a strong nation who can face any calamity with their Unity, faith and discipline.

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has established itself as a trustworthy and efficient organization for humanitarian service since 1990. Under the leadership of its visionary president and board of management, with the help of dedicated and trained staff and a huge number of volunteers, Alkhidmat Pakistan has been able to provide exceptional rescue and relief work in the most hit areas of the country.

Alkhidmat’s tent cities initiative is a huge effort in providing relief to the displaced families. Giving a shelter to those left homeless, providing food, clean water and medical aid and now as the things are settling, the set up of Temporary Learning Centers(TLC) schools for the children is a commendable service that Alkhidmat has been able to extend to the people with the help of your support.
