BUNER: Aghosh Alkhidmat Home Buner, a modern residential facility for orphan Childre, was officially inaugurated. The project will support and care for 200 orphaned children, offering them shelter, education, and a brighter future.
The opening ceremony was led by Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, alongside Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. The event marked a significant step in Alkhidmat’s ongoing efforts to expand its social welfare network across the country.
The opening ceremony was attended by Air Marshal (Retd.) Farooq Habib, Chairman Aghosh Homes, and Inayatullah Khan, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North. They addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of caring for the vulnerable and providing safe spaces for children in need.
Khalid Waqas, President Alkhidmat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Professor Dr. Abdul Malik, Chairman Aghosh Buner also joined the event and spoke about the foundation’s work across Pakistan. They thanked philanthropists and volunteers for their continuous trust and support in Alkhidmat’s mission.
ADC Buner Akram Shah, Alkhidmat Buner President Akbar Khan Advocate, and Mustafa Advocate were also present on the occasion. They emphasized the value of community support in sustaining long-term welfare initiatives.
In recognition of their contributions to the construction and development of the Aghosh Home, commemorative shields were presented to noted social worker Haji Ghulam Ali, Director Aghosh USA Ahmad Islam, and Project Head Construction Adil Hussain, among others.
Bio. Alkhidmat has acted efficiently and provided help to victims of disasters whether that was the recent 2022 Pakistan flood or the 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
