Dua is a heartfelt prayer or supplication in Islam, where an individual directly communicates with Allah to seek guidance, help, forgiveness, or express gratitude. It is a deeply personal act of worship, reflecting one’s reliance on and trust in Allah.
Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous.
اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں ہماری بیویوں اور ہماری اولاد کی طرف سے آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک عطا فرما، اور ہمیں پرہیزگاروں کا پیشوا بنا۔
Quran-25:74
ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما
Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous.
اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں ہماری بیویوں اور ہماری اولاد کی طرف سے آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک عطا فرما، اور ہمیں پرہیزگاروں کا پیشوا بنا۔
Quran-25:74
لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
There is no god but Thou, glory be to Thee; surely I am of those who make themselves to suffer loss.
تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تو ہر عیب سے پاک ہے، یقیناً میں اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرنے والوں میں شامل تھا۔
Quran — Sūrah al-Anbiyāʾ - (21:87)
اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ،وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ۔
Oh Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by (other) men.
اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں فکر اور غم سے، اور ناتوانی اور سستی سے، اور بزدلی اور بخل سے، اور قرض کے بوجھ اور لوگوں کے غلبے سے۔
