Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Head Office has dispatched another cache of relief goods to the earthquake-hit areas of Azad Kashmir. The relief goods comprised of 50 tents, 500 tarpaulins, 500 jerry cans, and 100 food packages.
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan President Muhammad Abdus Shakoor visited AKFP Relief Camp in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir and met with the Alkhidmat Volunteers. He appreciated their matchless and dedicated efforts to provide immediate relief to the people affected by the earthquake.
Upon his arrival in Mirpur, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan President Muhammad Abdus Shakoor held a meeting with local volunteers and officials of AKFP. He was briefed about losses incurred as a result of earthquake and AKFP’s efforts for rescue and relief of the affected people.
News update – 25 Sep 2019:13 ambulances had started the rescue operation in Mirpur last night while another 3 will join the fleet this evening. Our rescue teams are carrying out relief activities by providing tents, food, and medicine to the affected people of Mirpur since last night.
