The Government sets up a committee to look into the matters of importing Corona Vaccine
President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Muhammad Abdus Shakoor called on Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. Prof. Dr. Javed Akram, Vice-Chancellor University of Health Sciences was also present in the meeting. Muhammad Abdus Shakoor discussed in-depth about the current situation of coronavirus and the role of humanitarian organizations in importing and supplying Corona vaccine on non-commercial basis. The Governor Punjab has constituted a committee in this regard which will take steps to export the vaccine on non-commercial basis. The committee includes Alkhidmat Foundation and other welfare and government agencies. President Alkhidmat , Muhammad Abdus Shakoor invited the government’s attention to allowing the leading charities to import the vaccine and deliver it to the marginalized and underprivileged segments of the country. The meeting was also attended by President Board of Governors University of Health Sciences, Justice (Retd) Tassaduq Hussain Jilani, Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Shahid Iqbal, Executive Director Akhuwat Amjad Saqib, CEO Drap, Asim Rauf and other important personalities.
