Alkhidmat Alfalah Scholarship

Even though Pakistan is home to incredibly talented youngsters, opportunities to get higher education still remains an unfulfilled dream for the majority of them. The principal cause for this dilemma is that most of the Pakistanis due to the financial problems can not afford quality higher education that can transform them into qualified professionals and enable them to be assets for the country.

How Are We Helping

For the last three decades, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has been endeavoring to provide necessary financial support to talented and deserving students so that they are able to pursue their studies in their favorite fields such as engineering, computer science, medical, and other professions. For this purpose, AlKhidmat Foundation has launched a comprehensive scholarship program titled “Alkhidmat Alfalah Scholarship Scheme”.

Alkhidmat Foundation sorts out talented and deserving male and female students from all over Pakistan including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and grants them financial aid in order to complete their respective degree programs. The process is extremely fair and equitable, yet competitive. A great number of students have already availed of this scholarship scheme and are studying in the top universities and colleges across the country. In the ongoing year, as many as 881 students across Pakistan have been awarded the scholarships.

Success Stories

Salman Haider

Student of FSc Pre-Engg.

The student comes from very poor family background. His father is a tailor and the mother is a housewife. His family consists of five members including two brothers and sisters. Due to the financial upheavals, his family was not in a position to pay for the educational expenses of all children.

Salman Haider was a bright student who had a passion to get further studies, but whenever he thought of going ahead with his dream, the financial circumstances of his family always came in his way as a big hurdle. Someone told him about Alkhidmat Alfalah Scholarship scheme. He applied for it and luckily was shortlisted after the verification process was over.

I could see my future shining right in front of my eyes. When I told my parents about the grant of scholarship, they became so delighted that I can’t express in words“, Says Salman Haider recalling that day.

It is said God helps those who help themselves. After getting admission to a college, Salman worked very hard and has completed his intermediate studies with excellent marks.

It is expected that in the future, he would also opt for higher studies and would also join hands with Alkhidmat Alfalah Scholarship Scheme to be a sponsor for the needy and talented students just like the Foundation did for him.

Misbah Bibi

Student of FSc Pre-Medical

Misbah belongs to an underprivileged family that comprises of nine members. Her father by profession is a farmer who works on someone else’s agricultural land. Her mother is a housewife. Misbah has two brothers and five sisters. The two sisters help their mother at home while rest of the brothers and sisters are studying at school and college level. Due to a large family and low income, it was very hard for the parents to support the educational expenses of their children.

Like other girls, Misbah too was fond of receiving good education, but her family’s financial situation did not allow her to pursue her dream.

AlKhidmat Foundation’s Alfallah scholarship scheme proved a blessing for Misbah that enabled her to complete her studies.
