Alkhidmat Foundation’s Volunteers Begin Rescue Operation Amid Karachi Blast
At least five people have lost their lives and over a dozen have injured in an explosion in a multi-story building in Karachi, which is Pakistan’s densely-populated and largest city.
The blast occurred in the four-story building located at the Muskan Chorangi, in the southern port city of Karachi on Wednesday.
The rescue teams of Alkhidmat Foundation consisting of several volunteers rushed to the spot immediately and joined hands with security forces in carrying out relief operations. While this news is being written, five dead bodies have been pulled out of the wreckage and many people are reported to have been trapped on the third and fourth floor of the building.
Alkhidmat’s volunteers are trying their best to rescue the trapped people.
